- Preheat oven to 200°C
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- Measure out the buttermilk
📋 Instructions
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the buttermilk.
Stir gently with a wooden spoon until a dough forms.
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead lightly for about 30 seconds.
Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
Cut a deep cross into the top of the loaf with a sharp knife.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
Let cool on a wire rack before slicing.
