This moist banana bread is a delicious way to use up overripe bananas. It's perfect for breakfast, a snack, or dessert.

Sugar150 g
Vanilla extract1 teskefuld

Salt1/2 teskefuld

Preheat oven to 175°C

Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan

Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl

Melt the butter and let it cool slightly

In a large bowl, mix the melted butter with sugar until well combined

Add the mashed bananas and mix until smooth

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract

In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring just until combined

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan

Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean

Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely
