Tabbouleh is a refreshing Middle Eastern salad made primarily of parsley, tomatoes, and bulgur, perfect for a light meal or side dish.

Bulgur wheat100 g
๐ฅฆ Vegetables
Fresh parsley1 bunch
Tomatoes2 medium
Cucumber1 medium
Red onion1 small
Fresh mint leaves1 bunch

Lemon juice60 ml
๐ซ Oils & Fats
Olive oil30 ml

Saltto taste
Black pepperto taste
๐ช Preparation
Do this before you start cooking
- Soak bulgur wheat in hot water for about 30 minutes until softened.
- Finely chop the parsley, mint, tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion.

Drain any excess water from the bulgur wheat.

In a large bowl, combine the bulgur, parsley, mint, tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion.

Add lemon juice and olive oil to the mixture.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Toss the salad gently to combine all ingredients well.

Let it sit for about 10 minutes before serving for flavors to meld.
