Preheat oven to 190°C

Roll out the shortcrust pastry and line a quiche dish

Chop the bacon and onion

Grate the Gruyère cheese

Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, sauté the onion until soft and translucent.
