
Classic Chicken Parmesan

Do this before you start cooking
- Preheat oven to 200ยฐC
- Slice chicken breasts in half horizontally to create thin cutlets
- Finely chop the garlic
- Grate the Parmesan cheese
- Prepare a baking dish with a light coat of olive oil
๐ Instructions
Season chicken cutlets with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Dip each cutlet into the egg, then coat with breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan.
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Add the breaded cutlets to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Transfer the cooked cutlets to the prepared baking dish.
Spoon marinara sauce over each cutlet, then top with sliced mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
