Potatoes4 unit
Onion1 unit

Beef broth1 l
Tomato paste2 tablespoon

Olive oil2 tablespoon

Bay leaves2 unit
Thyme1 teaspoon

๐Ÿ”ช Preparation

Do this before you start cooking

  • Chop the beef into bite-sized pieces
  • Peel and chop the carrots and potatoes
  • Dice the onion and mince the garlic
  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat

๐Ÿ“‹ Instructions

Add the chopped beef to the pot and brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.

Remove the beef from the pot and set aside.

In the same pot, add the onions and garlic, and sautรฉ until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the carrots and potatoes, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Stir in the tomato paste and cook for 1 minute.

Return the beef to the pot, then add the beef broth, bay leaves, thyme, salt, and pepper.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover.

Simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the beef is tender, stirring occasionally.

Remove bay leaves before serving.
