📋 Instructions
Soak chickpeas in water overnight
Chop onion and garlic finely
Rinse and finely chop fresh parsley
Prepare a bowl for tahini sauce ingredients
Drain and rinse soaked chickpeas
In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, salt, and baking powder
Pulse until the mixture is coarsely blended but not pureed
Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in flour until combined
Form the mixture into small balls or patties
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat
Fry falafel in batches for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy
Remove falafel and drain on paper towels
In the prepared bowl, mix tahini, lemon juice, water, and salt until smooth
Serve falafel warm with tahini sauce drizzled on top
