Do this before you start cooking
- Boil and mash the potatoes.
- Finely chop the onion.
- Cook the green peas until tender.
- In a bowl, mix flour with a pinch of salt and water to form a dough.
- Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
๐ Instructions
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds until they splutter.
Add chopped onions and sautรฉ until golden brown.
Stir in the mashed potatoes, green peas, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt.
Cook the mixture for about 5 minutes, then let it cool.
Divide the dough into small balls and roll each into a thin circle.
Cut each circle in half to form two semi-circles.
Take one semi-circle and form a cone, sealing the edge with water.
Fill the cone with the vegetable mixture and seal the top with water.
Repeat for all dough and filling.
Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the samosas until golden brown.
Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.
