Do this before you start cooking
- Soak chickpeas in water overnight.
- Chop onion, garlic, parsley, and cilantro finely.
- Prepare tahini sauce by mixing tahini, lemon juice, water, and salt.
๐ Instructions
Drain and rinse soaked chickpeas.
In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, cumin, coriander, salt, black pepper, baking powder, and flour.
Pulse until the mixture is well combined but still slightly chunky.
Form the mixture into small balls or patties.
Heat olive oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
Fry falafel in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Remove falafel and drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with tahini sauce.
