Drain and rinse the chickpeas.

Peel and crush the garlic cloves.

Measure out tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, and water.

In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, and salt.

Blend until smooth, adding water gradually to reach desired consistency.

Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
