Do this before you start cooking
- Preheat oven to 200ยฐC.
- Finely chop the onion and garlic.
- Thaw the puff pastry sheets if frozen.
๐ Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and garlic, cooking until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the ground beef to the pan, breaking it up with a spoon and cooking until browned.
Stir in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, then season with salt and pepper.
Simmer the mixture for about 10 minutes until slightly thickened.
Roll out one sheet of puff pastry and line a pie dish with it.
Pour the meat mixture into the pastry-lined pie dish.
Cover with the second sheet of puff pastry, sealing the edges by crimping.
Make a small slit in the top pastry for steam to escape.
Beat the egg and brush it over the top of the pastry.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
