Do this before you start cooking
- Preheat oven to 180ยฐC
- Prepare a round baking dish by greasing it with butter
- In a saucepan, combine sugar and water to make the caramel
๐ Instructions
Heat the sugar and water over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and turns golden brown
Quickly pour the caramel into the greased baking dish, tilting to coat the bottom evenly
In a blender, combine sweetened condensed milk, milk, and eggs
Blend until smooth and well mixed
Pour the mixture over the caramel in the baking dish
Place the baking dish in a larger roasting pan and fill the pan with hot water to create a water bath
Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until set
Remove from the oven and let cool at room temperature
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight
To serve, carefully invert onto a plate
