Do this before you start cooking

  • Preheat oven to 175ยฐC
  • Grease a 9-inch springform pan
  • Melt the unsalted butter
  • Bring cream cheese to room temperature
  • Prepare a water bath by placing a larger baking dish with water in the oven

Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl

Press the graham cracker mixture into the bottom of the greased springform pan

In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth

Add granulated sugar and beat until well combined

Mix in sour cream and vanilla extract

Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition

Stir in the all-purpose flour until just combined

Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust in the springform pan

Place the springform pan in the oven inside the larger baking dish for the water bath

Bake for 60-70 minutes or until the center is set but slightly jiggly

Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door slightly ajar for 1 hour
