This Cookie Policy explains how Dine With Me uses cookies and similar technologies to provide, improve, and protect our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Platform").
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit, such as your login status and preferences. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and device tokens, which serve comparable purposes in modern web and mobile applications.
2. Cookies & Storage We Use

Analytics Cookies
| Name / Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|

| Google Analytics (_gid) | Used to distinguish unique users for anonymous analytics reporting. | 24 hours |
3. Third-Party Services
Our Platform loads resources from and integrates with the following third-party services, which may set their own cookies or collect data:
- Google Analytics (analytics.google.com) — Anonymous usage analytics. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Stripe (stripe.com) — Payment processing. Stripe sets cookies necessary for secure payment sessions and fraud prevention. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (firebase.google.com) — Push notification delivery. Firebase may store tokens and connection data. See Firebase Privacy.
- Google Fonts (fonts.google.com) — Provides the Poppins typeface. Google may collect anonymized usage data when fonts are loaded.
- Font Awesome / cdnjs (cdnjs.cloudflare.com) — Icon library served via Cloudflare's CDN.
- Google Maps (maps.google.com) — Displays competition and chef lesson locations. Google may set cookies when maps are loaded.
- Supabase (supabase.com) — Backend infrastructure for authentication, database, real-time messaging, and file storage.
These services may set their own cookies according to their respective privacy policies. We encourage you to review their policies for more information.
4. How to Manage Cookies
You can control cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Here's how to manage them in popular browsers:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions
On mobile devices, cookie behavior is managed by the app's embedded browser. Push notification tokens can be managed through your device's notification settings (Settings > Notifications > Dine With Me on iOS).
Please note that disabling essential cookies or clearing local storage will sign you out and may prevent certain features from working correctly.
5. Do Not Track
Dine With Me honors Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals. When DNT is enabled, we will disable Google Analytics tracking for your session. We do not engage in cross-site behavioral tracking regardless of your DNT setting.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our Platform evolves or as we add new services. Changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
